Allow a licensed beauty professional to perform a beauty service/ privately with one client in the salon / per stylist at a time Starting as of Friday, may 1, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state of NJ and the local Board of Health will be followed. Our industry needs to be recognized & deemed as an essential business so we can better serve our community. Servicing one client at a time (while wearing a mask & gloves) poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food.

Open beauty salons with restrictions. Salons would be limited to 1 customer per time. All work stations must be minimum 3’ apart. Surgical grade face masks must be worn by workers and customers at all times. Sanitizing stations offered at entrances. And of course all this along with the standard health department rules for beauty salons. We all already have extensive training in blood-borne pathogen’s. We all go through health department inspections and we are checked randomly to ensure that we are following guidelines set for safe in sterile operation.

We would like our Governor to rethink our positions on reopening salons in New Jersey. Our industry needs to be recognized & deemed essential. We follow sanitation protocols, adding a mask would add another layer of protection. We can service one client at a time for extra which would pose little or no threat compared to grocery stores

Women and Infants hospital of RI has fired experienced, caring, compassionate and valuable nurses, and other healthcare workers, some with over 20 years of dedicated service, over their religious beliefs. These employees are not able to take an employer mandated medical treatment because to do so would violate their sincerely held religious beliefs. Women and Infants hospital has denied 100% of religious exemptions submitted but currently has employees working under medical exemptions. If their policy was truly about infection control, they would apply their policy consistently. These nurses have dedicated their careers to caring for women and babies in the community and now they are being prevented from doing what they love. Other hospitals in Rhode Island are calling their terminated employees and asking them to come back to work. They are honoring religious  exemptions as required by the CMS mandate. It is time for YOU, Care New England to follow suit. Do the right thing and bring back your fired health care workers!

Stop treating war like entertainment and responsibly report on U.S. military action

It is time all of America speak up about the bias pro Israeli coverage by all the media. Innocent children are being killed and the media is focusing on Hamas rockets that are for the most part landing harmlessly.
