The undersigned persons request that the Tennessee Legislature pass both HB1466 and SB2592 and send a clean bill to the governor that requires the state capitol commission to transfer possession and control of the bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest located at the state capitol to the new Tennessee state museum and thus remove the bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest immediately from the capital building.

Tax-payers deserve a rural public transit route along Santiago Canyon Road, which would connect canyon residents to urban services (food, gas, jobs, etc.) and outdoor enthusiasts to the world class scenery of the Santa Ana Mountains.

Commissioners: I ask that you extend the current moratorium on oil and gas exploration, drilling, and extraction within San Miguel County until the fall of 2014. We need to wait until the EPA study of the potential impacts of hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") on drinking water resources has been completed, is publicly available, and can be reviewed.

Concealed weapons permits(CWPs) already have a list of establishments where concealed weapons are not permitted, any establishment that is not on this list shall not have the right to prevent someone from lawfully carrying their weapon. Another class of CWP needs to be issued that will allow certain individuals, who go through a much more stringent testing, similar to what it takes to become a police officer, to be allowed to carry into all establishments including those that are currently restricted.
