  • Stop Global Warming
    (1) We are in the Sixth Extinction Event, because of global warming. We are having drought, heavy rain, displaced people, melting icecaps now. In 30 years, global warming may not be reversible, which will lead to an ice-free planet in summer and catastrophic events across the planet. We cannot burn the fossil fuel we know of now. And government is subsidizing and telling fossil fuel companies to find more fossil fuel. (2) The dairy industry is causing USDA to recommend a diet of milk products for schools, military, etc., which is causing cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and obesity in people. The FDA is similar, influenced by corporate industry of drug companies. (3) Assassinations in USA history, 9/11, illegal wars, revolving door, war on drugs, and corporate money influence in all governments (local, state, and federal): all are hurting people. Nearly all are not constitutional. (4) Monsanto is a danger to everybody and everything. Government is doing nothing about Monsanto. (5) Danger of corporate money influence on government is evident. Most people are being hurt by this dangerous practice. (6) The legacy we are leaving our children is ominous.

  • Arizona Game and Fish: Stop Undermining Wolf Recovery
To the AZ Game and Fish Commission and Department: With only 110 Mexican gray wolves in the wild, they are still very much in danger of extinction. We, the undersigned, respectfully and urgently request that you: 1. Cease opposing new releases of captive wolves into the wild and instead work to ensure that releases of adult wolves are expedited to improve the genetic health of the wild population; 2. End your advocacy for killing and trapping wolves for preying on elk, going outside of political boundaries, and for livestock conflicts; 3. End your advocacy for keeping the wild population down to 300-325 wolves, a number which has no basis in science but will result in wolves above that number being killed or trapped and removed; 4. Desist in efforts to delay and obstruct recovery planning. 5. Respect the peer reviewed science by recognized experts and stop objecting to new populations of wolves in habitats north of I-40; and 6. Honor and fulfill your public trust obligations by representing the best interests of all of Arizona’s wildlife, including keystone carnivores like wolves, all Arizonans, and visitors to Arizona from all over the world, who want these wolves to thrive.

  • Don't Raise the Flag of the People's Republic of China over San Leandro
This Monday, the San Leandro City Council will be voting on whether to raise the flag of the People's Republic of China (PRC) over San Leandro on October 1st, "National Day". That day commemorates the establishment of the PRC, following the triumph of the communist army, led by Mao Zedong, in the Chinese Civil War. Betwee 2 and 5 million people were executed as "counter-revolutionaries" and between 4 and 6 million died in re-education camps in the two years following this date. Honoring the PRC by flying their flag, would be an an affront to all the victims of human rights violations by the current undemocratic PRC regime. In recent months, China has increased the persecution of pro-democracy activists and members of the opposition, which now languish in jails throughout the country. Its labor camps continue to be centers of torture and death, while the Tibetan people remain oppressed an not allowed to freely practice their religion. The Dalai Lama remains in exile. By raising the flag of China, San Leandro will seem to be condoning the actions of the PRC government - a government that has not been elected by its people. Please ask the members of the San Leandro City Council to vote against raising the PRC flag.

  • Visalia Gym’s Open Up!
We want Tulare County to acknowledge that Gyms play an essential role in our community, and allow the local gyms to open under strict guidelines. We are done being closed! This closure has put a hurt on Millions of Americans, and our economy will feel this for many years to come. Small businesses have closed their doors forever, because they couldn’t last during this closure. With little to no support, who is helping the small business? All the while Walmart’s, Targets, DunkinDonuts and Starbucks thrive. Our leaders speak of plans for openings, but provide NO REGULATIONS or timelines for openings. It’s time for US to take action. The gym owners are ready and willing to open to service our community. WE PROPOSE AND WILL ENFORCE: 1. spacing practices 2. Strict cleaning regimens 3. making sure shared equipment is wiped down consistently. 4.Sanitizing and disinfecting each gym, would need to follow strict practices. 5. Members would be required to abide by the current orders, and take self precaution. 6. Members and trainers will be required to stay at home if they show any signs or symptoms of an illness, or signs and symptoms related to Covid-19
