Magnolia is a huge part of the thriving metropolis that is Seattle. We provide close "suburban" like access to the city for our homeowners and apartment dwellers alike. Removing the bridge will create insurmountable barriers to enter the city and quickly leave it as a less than desirable place to live.

America’s largest gun maker would have a hard time supporting gun reform, even if it wanted to, given the presence of Sandra Froman — a pro-gun extremist on the NRA’s board — who sits on Sturm Ruger’s board of directors. Froman is in a perfect position to inhibit any meaningful reform at the company, represents a clear conflict of interest, and is an obstacle to common-sense reforms to make our country safer. Fund managers need to use their position to help force Froman off the board, now.

Hello, Lower Nyack neighbors! I am writing to you with the hope that we can take part and advocate for safer street conditions down on Gedney Street. I spoke to the members of the Nyack Village Hall about my concerns around excessive speeding in this area ( Gedney, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th avenues) and what a danger it has become for residents living here. They have asked that we submit a letter to their next town meeting, which occurs on November 14th, with a request for the installment of speed bumps on all mentioned streets so that our neighborhood can be a safer place to walk and drive. I have attached a pre-written letter for those who want to participate…..all you have to do is sign it and email it back to me.
