  • No Artificial Turf on Martha's Vineyard
Artificial turf, regardless of the infill, is not as cost-effective nor as low-maintenance as it is marketed to be, poses serious health and environmental concerns, and is not the preferred playing surface for the majority of athletes. Please do not approve the installation of artificial turf fields at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.

  • Physical markers to designate sewage outflow areas
The fact that sewage outflows are not required to be marked within the city poses a threat to public health and recreational activities. Discharge points need to be marked for public health and safety.

  • Washington Super Delegates: The Political (R)Evolution Needs You!
We, the undersigned residents of Washington state, call upon all WA Super Delegates to consider the need and the inevitability of a Political (R)Evolution. A Senate Republican Party majority in Olympia (and razor slim Democratic majority in the House) has led to partisan gridlock and is a result of ever-decreasing Progressive Voter turn-out in our state. We, the undersigned residents of Washington state, recognize the tremendous opportunity afforded to us by Bernie Sanders. As the Democratic Party wanes, it makes no sense for WA Super Delegates to give Bernie Sanders the cold shoulder. Not when Bernie Sanders has proven again and again, “we win when voter turn out is high, and we lose when it is low.” Bernie Sanders received 73% of the votes cast on March 26th. We call upon our Democratic Party Leadership to seize this opportunity of increasing political engagement. Stand with the majority of Washington Democrats and commit your Super Delegate vote to Bernie Sanders. Only with your leadership and support for the Bernie Sanders Campaign can we expand the presence of true progressive leaders in Washington D.C & Olympia, WA.

  • To Move Zeph Pitt From the United States Penitentary "Canaan" in Waymart, PA; to the Bureau of ...
After hearing the story of Zeph Pitt I support this petition to have Zeph Pitt #96636038, moved from U.S.P. Canaan, to the U.S. M.C. at Devens, MA. This will not only address the much needed surgical and biologic treatment that is not being provided in his current location; It would also make visits by his wife and three small children possible; and save the taxpayers the funds used to send his lawyer long distance for consultation.

  • VOICES....Victims Of Injustice (are) Children Enduring Suffering
Give abused children their voices! The Family Courts, in Howard County, Maryland, and across America, continue to ignore the "best interests of the child" and the Courts make decisions based on their own prejudices. My son was taken from me and given to the abusive father, even though he has been pleading for help for years. Where is the justice????
