Have the Gov. of the US ensure the availability of zinc acetate and gluconate lozenges1. Demand that Congress pass legislation to make zinc acetate and/or gluconate lozenges: - widely available to institutions housing and caring for the elderly - widely available at health institutions to begin treatment for front-line medical staff who come down with symptoms - available to military troops who are at risk in barracks to use for onset of upper respiratory infections 2. Have the government take over facilities to make the lozenges, or subsidize the production for makers of the lozenges so that they are widely available 3. Demand that the CDC issue a position paper on the use of zinc lozenges in COVID-19 and test their use in treatment (in double-blinded studies) in vulnerable populations. This could certainly be done in volunteers.37 of 100 SignaturesCreated by DOUGLASS BIBULD

Tell Attorney General Jeff Sessions to Mandate Malpractice Insurance for Law Enforcement Officers! We, the taxpayers, can no longer pay out massive settlements for negligent law enforcement officers. A mandate on malpractice insurance is absolutely necessary in order to: (1) ensure accountability; (2) encourage best practice; and (3) deter misconduct.99 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Denita Latta

Open Kentucky's Primary Election Process! #KyLeg #KyGovWe, the Undersigned of this petition, call upon the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Legislature and its Governor, The Honorable Steven L. Beshear, to OPEN Kentucky's Primary Election Process so that all voters may be able to vote for the candidates of their choice. For too long the primary process has been CLOSED to those who are not considered main-stream or popular with the Political Establishment. This IS NOT fair to the voters, who may not wish to cast their precious vote with any such candidate of established choice. The closed primary election process in our State is both arcane and restrictive to the voter or potential voter who sees or is made to see that there are no choices when voting, or must resign themselves to voting for a Democrat or Republican candidate(s) whom they may not wish to vote for in the first place. And with voting ballot access already so restrictive throughout the United States, and debate criteria often times untenable, the proverbial deck is stacked against a [really] good candidate(s) for elected office. It is time to put this CLOSED Primary Election Process to rest. The Voters of the Commonwealth of Kentucky deserve better. More voices. More choices. Thank you!100 of 200 SignaturesCreated by David R. Davidson

No Mandatory State ID for Medical Marijuana PatientsPreviously, patients with a valid medical marijuana recommendation from a certified physician were assured better access to MMJ at discounted rates. Given the indispensability of safe, easy and affordable access to medical cannabis, the latest regulations requiring medical marijuana patients to present a state-sanctioned medical marijuana identification card while visiting dispensaries are bound to create a disastrous impact on the savings and overall well being of MMJ patients.454 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Zack Gutin

Don't Deport these Arkansas Parents: Keep Silvia & Arturo Reyes with their Family!Mr. & Mrs. Silvia Reyes are proud Arkansans, parents of five American-born children and DACA-mented son, active community volunteers and well-respected, local business owners of Acambaro's Restaurant in Rogers. They recently received letters from ICE calling on their deportation on November 5th. Please support Arkansas family values, and keep the Reyes' together by using prosecutorial discretion and asking ICE to stay their deportations for one year. These precious additional months would allow them to make time-sensitive arrangements for an ill parent, begin residency petitions (through their daughter who turns 21 in a few weeks) and allow them to continue to give back to the state and country they so proudly call home. All of the Reyes' children need them, especially their two youngest children who are under the age of 10. Arturo and Silvia are NOT a security risk to Arkansas, and instead are an integral and positive influence on their family and community.2,241 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Arkansas United Community Coalition
