Our loved ones, and mentally ill persons are Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, Siblings, Children and Spouses to us. Mental Illness attacks persons of all origin, religion, age, sex, and financial status. They are victims to their illness and continually are victimized by those who are to help them and protect them. The system finds it easier to hold them, the mentally ill responsible for themselves when havic strikes. But the system (Dept of Children & Families, AHCA, DOH) turn away and cover-up the faults of the Doctors who take oaths to protect these fragile and disabled individuals. These agencies that are in place to protect these individuals look at the dollars they get from the government before they look at the well-being of your loved one. WE NEED TO HOLD THESE ENTITIES RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE for their Abuse and Negligence. The concept is simple. Do Downtown Woodland Events is a committee of small business owners who seek to bring more visitors, business and revenue to Woodland. We seek the support of Woodland Business owners and Woodland residents who would like the following: 1. Sidewalk vendor, art based and walking tour events on Main Street of Woodland.  2. A Business owner driven events calender with the purpose of increasing traffic, revenue, awareness and community in the downtown district of Woodland. 3. Business owners and residents working together to foster an inclusive and vibrant art and entrepreneurial environment in our downtown district. 

President Obama recently signed a regulation into law which will allow the industrial wind industry to KILL EAGLES for 30 YEARS without penalty, blatantly violating the Endangered Species Act. The Denver Post dismisses news reporting and editorial comment about the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a massive international trade agreement near the end of secretive negotiations. By its lack of coverage, the Post is clearly negligent in its obligation to provide balanced news and opinion about significant events. Because the Post is the only daily mass market newspaper in Denver, this negligence translates to corporate control of what the public may know, or more simply, censorship. The Denver Post breaks every newspaper's implied social contract with readers when it does not provide a full and accurate public record of significant local and world events. The Denver Post must recognize the importance of the TPP story and begin regular news coverage. The Post is also obligated to better serve the Denver community by publishing editorial comment on the TPP.

We CAN act to reduce senseless killing. The Supreme Court may have ruled on the right of individuals to own guns but the Second Amendment is silent on regulation. Strict regulation can be legislated. Legislation should ban the sale, ownership or possession of any type of automatic gun or ammunition by any individual; establish a government buy-back program for existing automatic or semi-automatic guns; require training and licensing in order for any individual to own a gun; and establish a common database of gun shops, guns and gun owners for law enforcement purposes. Please ACT NOW! Protect innocent children. Protect us all.
