We call on Donald Trump to rescind the appointment of Steve Bannon, repudiate his horrific, racist, sexist, bigoted views, and call for an end to violence, hate speech, and intimidation.

The constitutional transfer of power must not occur until criminal felony charges of child rape and fraud are cleared, it is demonstrated that he is not an imminent threat to our country in issues at home and abroad due conflicts of interest in the Trump organization, and until he can demonstrate he does not incite violent hate crimes that put American citizens at risk.

Whereas there has been a rapid increase of hate crimes perpetuated against minorities in recent weeks, and whereas much of this violence has been perpetuated by Trump supporters, we are petitioning Donald Trump with an insistence that he publicly denounce the hate crimes and violence and continue to do so until it ends.

We the people demand that the Congress of the USA be given full financial statements containing all assets, debts and past tax returns of all of Mr. Trumps business and charities that he controls, manages or advises. Thus the ability of Congress to perform its constitutional role of oversight of the Administrative branch of government is in danger. This puts the national security and financial interest of the people of the USA at extreme risk. Congressman could sign non-disclosure agreements to maintain Mr. Trumps financial privacy. This information must be produced before the Electors select the next President. Otherwise, the Constitutional role of the Electors to serve as a balance for an electoral process that fails to properly vet all candidates cannot be properly used. Now is the time for President Elect Trump to release his tax returns so the American people can see who holds his debt and the nature of his international business dealings. Without such transparency we will never know what foreign states or businesses may influence his policy and decisions.

Donald Trump has declared that he wants to be the president of "All Americans." We call on him therefore publicly and unambiguously to denounce all acts of sexual, racial, anti-Muslim, and anti-immigrant harassment, bullying, and violence, especially those committed by persons claiming to be his supporters. We further demand that, as president-elect of the United States, he promise, and direct his attorney general to carry out, swift and thorough investigations and prosecutions of all hate crimes and violations of human and civil rights, not least those committed by persons claiming to be his supporters.

Trump's recent allegations that the election is rigged and calls for groups (mobs) to "watch your polling booths…(in)…certain areas" appear designed to intimidate voters in low-income and minority communities. If the Republican Party is committed to free elections and the democratic process, it should publicly and widely denounce Trump's efforts to undermine them, and commit to protecting the rights of voters—of all colors, genders and incomes—at the polls.
