NJ Legislators just passed a bill that would take away our right to vote on whether to privatize water in our own communities. Right now a municipality must hold a public referendum on any privatization scheme, but this new bill cuts voters out of the process. Protect our voting rights and our water by vetoing this terrible legislation.

I have two ideas for some one to consider. You guys will have to do the work I don't have time. 1. Limit the TV News coverage these "mass shooters" receive, that's half their deal, to go down in history and make a big splash. 2. While you can't fight the 1st and 2nd Amendments you can create a Task Force to administer a "Non-violent Movie and Computer Game" incentive for Hollywood and the Gaming Industry. Create a 10 million prize for the 'best' in a 'Movie' and a 'Game' category for best Non-violent movie or game. If you can't ban it or fight it, turn it around, create an incentive for what you want to see, for a new direction! There are already so many semi automatic weapons on the black market, a new ban simply will NOT prevent a 'nutcase' from getting a hold of one. Somebody send this to President Obama, would ya? Chairman Tom Wheeler, a former cable lobbyist, has revealed proposed new rules -- drafted by himself -- that would end net neutrality! Big corporations would pay for faster delivery of their content, making it difficult for smaller operations to compete. Tell Chairman Wheeler and the rest of the Federal Communications Commission: we want action for democratic media, not platitudes as smokescreens for corporate domination of the Internet.

Close the current sale of guns at gun shows without a background check. All gun sales in the USA should be done with a background check and there should be no exception. Anyone wishing to purchase or in the sales of guns in the USA must pass a legal and mental background check to do so.

Stop Credit Checks for non-financial roles, such as, IT, maintenance, flipping burgers and others

Change the pick-up procedure back to the way it was.

When New START expires on February 5, 2026, so will the last thread of global arms control that has helped prevent global catastrophe for decades.  I urge you to pass H.Res.100/S.Res.61 and H.Res.317 to help end the dangerous nuclear brinkmanship that keeps the world on a knife’s edge.
