While following all guidelines that are in place by our state board for sanitation in which we all have passed written and practical testing to obtain our licences. This would essentially enable salons to stagger schedules if needed or limit their staff to 1 technician & 1 client per every 400 sq ft of open floor space to provide the social distance. Restaurants can have 10 people working together preparing food. Servicing one client at a time (while wearing a mask & gloves) and providing the space for social distance between other guests poses little to no risk of spreading the virus. People of NY have the choice to order out from a restaurant or cook at home yet they are forced to cut and color their own hair or go without... that is until a neighboring state opens and the choice becomes a 40 min. drive to Vermont or Mass. Please look at our numbers independently when making the decision.
