Amend the Constitution so that elected officials at the state and federal level, can not afford themselves rights and/or privileges that the general population does not have.

Let the Congress work for minimum wage. Pay for their own healthcare.

The objectification of women through the debasing act of cat calling needs to be stopped. In MUST no longer be ignored, considered a small irrelevant offense and gone without stance!

We as Black Americans deserve diversity in every walk of life. However, if main stream society and Hollywood are not willing, able, or capable to diversify, we should make our own award shows, PERIOD.

Any businesses that Observant Jewish People works at the bosses and supervisors should allow them keep the schedule and days that is fit for them because of their shabbat and Jewish Holidays. During the year Observant Jewish People should be allowed to leave early on Fridays or not come in at all, because their Shabbat in Standard time hours starts at 4:00pm and in the daylight savings time 7:00pm. Any Jewish Holidays like Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot (10 days Holidays), Purim (1 day Holidays that took place in the book of Esther) , Passover (10 Day Holiday), shavuot (3 day Holiday), Jewish People should take off from work NO MATTER WHAT!!

Stop US schools from being able to force their students into buying their mandatory meal plans.

This weekend, America will be celebrating Columbus Day.  Commemorating Columbus' conquests. I urge all of you to stand against this by not participating in any "celebration" of this day.

We the undersigned demand a comprehensive federal policy change that will require all law enforcement personnel to respect, uphold, and enforce the laws of United States Constitution. Under Amendment V, the Constitution states, “No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.” The current shoot-to-kill policy that is implemented by most law enforcement agencies throughout the US violates the People's constitutional right to life and due process of law. Enforcement of Constitutional Law therefore requires swift and comprehensive policy change to save lives and regain the People's trust. This shoot-to-kill policy should be replaced with a primary directive of employing tactical verbal deescalation techniques first. Secondarily, non-lethal tactics should be employed such as deploying netting. Lastly, after all non-lethal tactics have been exhausted, the use of shoot-to-wound with a firearm should be used with the intention of disarming and apprehending the person, not killing them. The safe arrest providing the opportunity for a court trial is a matter of compliance with US laws. We the undersigned demand that this policy change be put in place immediately by Presidential Executive Order in the interest of justice and be implemented by all federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies without delay.

Insulin prices have soared more than 400% during the past decade, making access to this vital drug, without which Type 1 and Type 2 insulin dependent diabetics cannot survive, a real life-or-death plight. Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, all makers of insulin as well as its distributors, insurance companies and retailers must find new ways to keep INSULIN available to all patients that need it. People with diabetes who cannot afford to pay the current prices, sometimes reaching an expense of more than $1000.00 dollars a month, are being forced to choose between paying for food or rent or being able to maintain their health with the correct dose of insulin required DAILY to manage their condition. No human being should be subjected to that. Patients forced to go without insulin or to ration it, face dire consequences, such as blindness, kidney failure, a range of vascular diseases and the breakdown of organ functions due to ketoacidosis, coma and ultimately death. We must all take action, to keep insulin available to ALL. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

WE DEMAND JUSTICE NOW We need to work together to ensure that we are granting power over the lives of the general public to the correct people. We have certain expectations we place on our citizens, and those expectations need to be higher for those who represent forces of authority in our country and in our communities. We need to reform the police system. It is the only way that we can successfully achieve progress in the relationship between cops and civilians. Although not all cops go out of their way to intentionally hurt civilians, there are some that do. If we carry on without addressing this truth: there will be no change and casualties will continue to occur. We need to start viewing the police force in America as a police force, and not as a military force. There are casualties when we go to war. To have casualties in the streets is symbolic of the wars between civilians and cops taking place within our own country. This can be prevented, on both sides. We ask that civilians rationalize the consequences of their actions before they commit them. As we ask the same of our cops. In order to make certain that we are working toward preventing these pointless wars – we demand steps be taken to help ensure that we are placing guns in the hands of only those who are mentally stable enough for such an important role. First, police officers need to be required to take a psychology course. They need to be taught how to better read behavior so that they can properly defuse situations. Also, they will be able to better recognize mental illness, so they know who they are dealing with and can react accordingly. Second, police officers also need to attend a once-a-month session with a psychologist. A licensed professional should be making sure that all cops are mentally stable enough to carry out such an important responsibility. Third, if a citizen is hurt in a police officer’s custody in any way, a federal investigation will be immediately launched. As a police officer in society, respecting citizens should be a part of your job just as civilians should be respecting the police force. Those in police custody are innocent until proven guilty and need to be treated like so. If someone is injured or killed while in police custody, an automatic suspension to the responsible officer(s) must occur until the investigation is complete. After the investigation is complete, if excessive force is determined: the officer(s) will be charged and sentenced accordingly. If a civilian dies in police custody, and an officer’s life was not in direct danger, the officer(s) must be charged. The charges can range anywhere from involuntary manslaughter to first-degree murder. Fourth, all police officers must be fitted with body cameras if they are patrolling the streets. If your body camera "falls off," you never properly put it on. This will result in an automatic suspension without pay for whatever duration managing officers determine. Body cameras are not only used for the protection of civilians; but for the protection of police officers. Because it is such a helpful instrument for police to have, officers need to properly secure body cameras at the beginning of a shift. Cameras in the workplace are common in less demanding jobs, and so shouldn’t be a burden in such a high-risk environment. Fifth, police officers need to be required to attend a crisis/hostage negotiation course. Defusing a situation and walking away with as few people injured as possible is important when your job is to protect and serve. We, the people of this country, demand justice. We believe that justice can only occur when the police force faces reform. We can help create a mutual respect between cops and civilians. The first step toward this respect is having the cops agree to the terms of the civilians that they are bound to protect. We respect those with positive intentions. We acknowledge that they risk their lives on a daily basis for our safety. But we demand that those who do not return this respect, who beat and kill our civilians, be dealt with under the eye of an equal law as any other civilian. Let’s change America today.
