The idea that nine UNELECTED, insular, and out-of-touch elites literally possess the power of life and death over an entire nation for as long as they so desire - even if severely afflicted and/or senile - is an abomination of the highest order and the greatest anathema of freedom. One need only review such democracy-destroying rulings as "Citizens United" and "McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission" for concrete proof that absolute power does indeed corrupt absolutely, especially when there is no fear of reprisal or termination. Failing the enactment of term limits, a mandatory retirement age of 65 should be enforced, in addition to all of the rules and regulations that lower court judges are held to, with special emphasis placed on recusal policies, because NO ONE should ever be considered above the law and/or allowed to operate with complete impunity as the Supreme Court has done for far too long now.

Make tongue kissing or French kissing a child a distinct and separate crime with known penalties.

In February 2003, my mother received a notice from Washington Mutual Bank, returning her payment for that month and notifying her that she was in default, claiming she had not paid since October 2002. This was the first time she had received anything from Washington Mutual, who had apparently taken over her mortgage from Homeside and was now the servicer of her loan. At their instruction, my mother sent in copies of the missing payment receipts to Washington Mutual, attempting to reconcile the situation. Despite this, Washington Mutual filed for foreclosure claiming she was delinquent on her loan, even though until that time she had never missed a payment.

So many Americans are forever penalized after commiting an offence against the law. Many immigrants come here from other countries and cannot be screened for past crimes because their offences were not recorded in the USA. Hence, American citizens who have paid their debt to society and seek the chance to lead productive lives are not allowed to do so, while the wealthy, the immigrant, the well connected, etc. are able to "get away" with their illegal past and challenge the adage that "crime doesn't pay". It's time that American ex-offenders are given the chance they deserve to be productive, tax paying members of this country. We need legislation to address this injustice now.

Release the funds for Hurricane Sandy victims! It is way overdue.

All politicians must pay their fare share. They will pay one quarter of their health benefit costs this year, 50% next year, 75% the following year, 100% the following and all years from then on. All politicians are from this date forward exempt from the state/federal pension system.
