For four decades the captivating sculpture of "Abraham and Isaac" by George Segal, which was donated to KSU in memory of May 4th, has stood in exile at Princeton University after begin foolishly rejected by KSU officials. It is time to reverse that rejection. It is time to end the exile. As the 50th anniversary of this grave American tragedy approaches, it is time to bring this thought-provoking work of art to its proper and intended home on the campus of Kent State University, preferably permanently but alternately on loan for the 2019-2020 academic year.

I believe that Medicare and Social Security should be means tested. On Medicare, I think those earning over $50,000 in retirement should definitely pay more for their coverage. On Social Security, I think anyone earning over $50,000 in retirement should only receive what they have personally paid in and not a penny more. I believe that would solve our financial issues with both programs. We do not need to subsidize Warren Buffett or George Soros.

Shift government subsidies and incentives from military and fossil fuel adventures, like hydro-fracking, to energy efficiency incentives for end users. Tax the ultra rich at pre-George W. Bush levels, and put those funds toward helping companies manufacture renewables. Subsidize our US made panels and turbines so that the cost to consumers is considerably less than what can be bought from our competitors overseas. The green economy will bring a huge net gain in jobs.

Bob Kroll, the leader of the Minneapolis police union, just called George Floyd a “violent criminal,” called the protests a “terrorist movement,” and he is defending the four officers who participated in killing Floyd. Kroll has said “I’ve been involved in three shootings myself, and not a one of them has bothered me.” We call on you to denounce and publicly call for the resignation of Bob Kroll as the leader of the Minneapolis Police Federation, and commit to removing him from power.

Bush in 1989, JoAnn Smith had deep ties with the beef industry, serving as president of both the Florida Cattlemen’s Association and the of the National Cattlemen’s Association. “Scientists in D.C. were pressured to approve this stuff with minimal safety approval,” Zirnstein said. In order to have a fair election, I am proposing a ban on political adds on television in America. Most of the political adds that are aired in America, have been reduced to smear campaigns by desperate people seeking office. These smear campaigns are detrimental to Democracy, and often steer voters to vote against their own interest. Because of the substantial costs of running these smear campaigns on television, candidates are easily corrupted by the donors they depend on. The Supreme Court has aggravated this situation by declaring that corporations are people , and money is speech. This , of course, encourages more corruption. In order to attempt to limit the amount of corruption in our governing, I propose a total ban on running political advertisements on television.
