  • The need for higher taxes
This petition is for the purpose of supporting Congressmen and Senators in supplying the government with increased income. In addition, The President should be supported in his attempts to increase the income of the United States to pay for 10 years of war and two years of needed stimulus. It is also intended to develop support in the public for increased U.S. income. The economy will fully develop when we begin to pay our bills.

  • Take Action: End Qualified Immunity for Police Violence
Congress should pass federal legislation by Congressman Justin Amash (I-MI) ending qualified immunity for police violence and misconduct. Qualified immunity is a legal doctrine that shields police from legal liability for murder, violence, and other misconduct. Qualified immunity must end now, for the memory of George Floyd--and countless others who've suffered and died at the hand of lawless police brutality. The police should be accountable to, not immune from, the same laws they enforce. They should be accountable to, not immune from, their violation of our constitutional rights. Federal law ending qualified immunity will deter police violence by making law-breaking police accountable. It will give the public--who both fund the police, and whose protection and service is the job of the police--legal recourse for police violence. Please support and pass Congressman Amash's legislation immediately. Learn more about qualified immunity here: https://theappeal.org/qualified-immunity-explained/

  • Reject or Amend the OSPREY D LLC Rezoning Request CZ# 1759 (Sussex County Delaware)
The Old Landing Golf Course is being considered for a zoning change from AR-1, Agricultural Residential District to MR-RPC, Medium Density Residential District-Residential Planned Community (Osprey Point D, LLC), which will add 350 housing units in this environmentally sensitive area containing wetlands, burial grounds, and flood prone areas. Key concerns include: 1) The proposed Osprey Point D, LLC Site Plan is not aligned with existing nearby communities along Old Landing Road. a. The Osprey Point D, LLC Plan places townhouses along Old Landing Rd which is incongruous with the character of existing communities near the Old Landing Golf Course (OLGC), b. Housing density in Sawgrass is 2.0 units/acre and the Osprey Point D, LLC Site Plan is approximately 2.77 units/acre (as calculated by Old Landing Woods HOA) c. This plan significantly alters and disrupts the scenic views along Old Landing Road 2) The site is in the flood plain and is currently prone to flooding during storms and moderate rain. a. Adding a large amount of impervious surfaces risks flooding adjacent areas and impacts the ability of the wetlands to filter and recharge the water supply. The wetlands protect nearby residents from storm damage. b. Given this is a State Level 3 Investment area, there are very limited state funds to address roads, sewer, water and other public facilities, which raises concerns regarding how storm water management and road improvements will be addressed. c. DNREC has very limited resources to monitor and adequately inspect construction to ensure features are implemented to protect the wetlands, manage storm water, and address flooding. 3) The proposed plan and response from Sussex County and State agencies does not adequately address Life/Safety concerns. a. The proposed plan will proceed without the benefit of a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) and analysis of life/safety issues due to single lane in/out of the area during mandatory evacuations during storm events. b. Multiple accidents have occurred along this site, where vehicles have left the roadway and crashed. This poses concerns about traffic safety, property damage, pedestrian and bicyclist safety. c. Increased traffic on this winding, two-lane road likely will increase the number of accidents and hence life/safety concerns.

  • DA Seth Williams, United States Department of Justice: Investigate Major Tillery's Case
In The State Of Pennsylvania, Major George Tillery #AM9786 has been in prison over 31 years for crimes he did not commit. There was no evidence against him for the 1976 poolroom shootings that left one man dead and another wounded. The surviving victim gave a statement to homicide detectives naming others—not Tillery or his co-defendant—as the shooters. Major wasn’t charged until 1980, he was tried in 1985. The only evidence against Major Tillery came from jail house snitches who were paid in sex and hotel rooms to repeat a story manufactured by Prosecutors and Police. Both witnesses now declare their testimony was manufactured by the police and prosecution. • Kill House Bill 87
The people demand that House Bill 87 be voted down and not passed into law, as the proposed Bill is no more than another brazen attempt to further deprive U.S. citizens of their constitutional rights to due process of law in Florida's courts, and will be used as a stepping stone to change the State of Florida into a non-judicial foreclosure state.
