  • U.S. Leaders: time to fully fund Ecosystem Restoration nationwide
On March 1, 2019, the U.N. launched a new initiative called Decade of Ecosystem Restoration for Action through 2030. It points out that only 2.5% funding out of the necessary funding goes to this restoration currently, worldwide. This correlates to our warming planet, and science indicates restoration would reduce, if not significantly resolve, our current climate threat.

  • Pay Equity for Women and Protection from Domestic Assault
The two most damaging situations for women in this country. With equal pay they will be given equal treatment. With protection from domestic assault our pregnant mothers will no longer lead the numbers in most murdered women. Both of these avenues to a new status for women have been long overdue. It's an idea whose time has come. Let's go America!

  • Stop the DEA from controlling our health care
The DEA plans to make another cutback in 2018 to the production of opioid medications for the treatment of pain. This can only mean more patient dismissals under duress from the government in the wake of the "opioid crisis" of the new millenium. Pain patients should not be treated like criminals! Please help us maintain our quality of life and functionality.

U.S. Senators; please co-sponsor S. 329 and S. 332.

  • Governor Brown: Save our State and protect a finite water source.
Please take the over-building in California seriously and take measures to stop more new building in order to prevent serious future rationing of water. When water is too rare or expensive agriculture cannot continue providing us with reasonably priced food and we risk creating an unsustainable economy. Stop allowing more building permits.

  • The Pendleton Law
Honor roll student Hadiya Pendleton was murdered in Chicago on 1-29-13 with an assault type weapon. She had just attended the Inauguration of President Obama as a band member the week before. Lawmakers are currently working on laws banning assault weapons. The new law should be named "The Pendleton Law" in honor of this honor roll student.

  • Help bring a reasonable balance to the budget-making process in Olympia! Sign our petition!
Republican legislative leadership holds that budgetary financial obligations (as imposed for example by the Supreme Court mandated increase in education funding or by the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)) can be met solely by spending reductions. We ask that not just spending reductions be sought, but that the government include new revenue options (for example: an excise tax on capital gains).
