We, the people of Oregon, are asking for equality. We are asking not to be discriminated against. We are asking to be considered part of the society with rights and privileges granted to all citizens of Oregon. We are asking for our right to get married as same-sex couples. We are asking for the right of same-sex couples to get married as gay rights advocates. We are asking for our rights guaranteed to us by the United States Constitution. • Oppose California AB-1754 Pre-K for All Act of 2018
Keep the current diverse options for early childhood education instead of providing "one size fits all" education for our 2-5-year-olds. Parents want a choice between traditional daycare, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, High Scope, and play-based programs. Don't take our choices away.

With an ever increasing number of children diagnosed to be on the Autism Spectrum, pre-schools should be available and paid for by Medicaid. The care needed includes OT, PT, social skills, speech therapy --all very expensive. But, by investing in the 3-5 year olds care, the result is that these kids are able to attend mainstream public school.
