    Hamilton Mill HOA has allowed a Blue Lives Matter Flag to be displayed by a resident while simultaneously preventing residents from displaying Black Lives Matter and Pride flags. If the HOA is going to continue to allow a Blue Lives Matter flag, they should also allow other flags, or at least other modifications of the American Flag, which they stated their original policy included.   • Tell President Biden: Fix the USPS crisis
    Former President Trump’s handpicked postmaster general Louis DeJoy spent most of last year trying to sabotage the Postal Service -- by imposing outrageous restrictions on postal workers, removing mailboxes by the truckload, reassigning top officials to give himself more power, and more. Now, President Biden has a chance to undo the damage that Trump and DeJoy have done. Biden should appoint new members to the USPS Board of Governors -- who could fire DeJoy and replace him with a qualified, effective candidate.

    We would like our Governor to rethink our positions on reopening tattoo studios in New Jersey. We are not eligible for any government funding because no one is a salary employee. All owners were not eligible to apply for payroll relief loans. Our artists are unemployed receiving no funds from the government.. We follow sanitation protocols, adding a mask would add another layer of protection. We can service one client at a time for extra which would pose little or no threat compared to grocery stores

This community has a strong desire to combine the Jr High Football teams, so we have one 7th grade team and one 8th grade team.

    NY State should to 2 things to protect people, 1- Emergency Unemployment Insurance Benefits for workers who do not have paid time off. This was done after Sandy, and it's time to provide for workers who are forced to either go to work sick or become unable to meet their basic needs i.e. rent, and 2- The New York Health Insurance Marketplace should open for a special enrollment period for those who do not have health insurance but now see the dire need to get coverage.

    The number of migrants in detention has actually increased since President Biden took office. The vast majority are being held in private prisons, which are notorious for their unsafe and abusive conditions. When he was running for office, President Biden committed to reducing the number of migrants being detained. The new administration quickly cut government ties with private prisons -- EXCEPT for immigration detention. President Biden should practice what he preaches, and end government contracts with ALL private prisons -- including DHS and ICE detention facilities.
