Hello Everyone...my name is Shauntaevia Day been a resident of harrisburg for over 10 yrs...i writing this petition for the sake of my 5yr old daughter who if they pass this new bill she will not be startin school at 5 like the rest...i wanna get as many signatures as I can to show the city and mayor and congress if need be that our children deserve an education and need kindergarten

Kansans have no recourse of recalling their U.S. Senators. Only the Senate itself can expel members. Article I, Section 5, of the Constitution provides that "Each House [of Congress] may determine the Rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two-thirds, expel a member." U.S. Senator Roger Marshall should be expelled from the U.S. Senate under this Constitutional provision.

We petition the Texas State Legislature to repeal the anti-communist law which is still in effect in Texas. This law prohibits members of the Communist Party from holding public office or even holding a state government job. The law is anti-democratic, highly discriminatory, unconstitutional, libelous and is a violation of human rights. The law is Title 5, Subtitle A, Chapter 557, Subchapter A. Sedition and Subchapter C. Communism.

Beaten, stoned, dragged behind cars, set on fire--the homeless in our country are subjected not only to the violent but degrading and humiliating acts of violence at the hands of those who see them as having no worth. These crimes are targeted and have resulted in more than 500 deaths in the past 5 years. These are hate crimes by definition and need to be treated as such. We the undersigned are writing to ask for your immediate action on common-sense gun legislation. We believe that there are critical steps that we need to take now to bring this devastation under control. The changes we want to see include. 1. Require background checks for all gun purchases. This should include closing the loop holes associated gun show and private sales. 2. Take actions needed to ensure that the Massachusetts mental health records are included the National Instant Criminal Background Check System 3. Ban assault weapons. 4. Ban ammunition magazines of more than 5 rounds 5. Take actions through your party at the national level to ensure that the CDC and others in the medical profession are mandated and funded to study and to make recommendations on this public health emergency The vast majority of voters want change. We have allowed the gun lobby and extremists in the NRA to bully us into this immoral and irresponsible position. It is time to take control of our state and our country.
