Senator Casey, Keep Social Security Secure
Dear Senator Casey (PA-D), we the undersigned request that you sign the letter written by Senator Sanders (VT-I) opposing inclusion of cuts to Social Security in any deficit reduction package. Remember, the Federal Budget and SS are separate and should be treated separately. You say you Support Social Security; so please put your signature to what you say.
Why is this important?
There is a move in legislator to cut SS in order to balance the budget. Average SS benefit is $1200/month. Mine is less. For many seniors, it is their only income. Senator Casey (PA-D) claims to support SS., but refuses to sign a letter written by his colleague (Senator Sanders (VT-I)) which would indicate where he really stands on the issue.
