Senator Klobuchar, We are troubled by your silence on issues associated with gun control and the reduction of gun violence in the United States. It appears that you have rarely, if ever, publicly addressed the issue. Your recent failure to give any indication of support for the President's recent initiatives on these issues is particularly disturbing. We strongly urge you to immediately take a strong public position, endorsing and supporting the President's efforts to reduce gun violence in our country.
