Seniors Protest Trump
TRUMP IS NOT MY PRESIDENT!
We the undersigned are declaring our shock and disappointment in this election. The majority of this country did not vote for Trump, and we reject his policies and behaviors. He does not represent American values and ideals.
We are all Seniors, rising from our quiet places to defend our country. Should politicians like Trump and Ron Johnson use this election to dismantle American institutions, especially Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act-- which many of our children and grandchildren need-- they will find us raising our voices and being heard across the land.
Dismiss us, or take rights and support from Elders, you do so at your own peril. You will all someday be one of us.

Why is this important?
In the days since the election, I have been among older Americans voicing their disgust with the election, with the awful man elected, and the Republicans who want to dismantle the health and welfare institutions we and our families depend on to get by. We are thought to be old and quiet, with no power because of our age. But we will be heard. We are Americans. It is our right to be heard and we claim it.
