seperation of church and state

This petition is to reinstate the separation of church and state. The goal is to bring the national motto back to what the founding fathers intended it to be, to remove "God" from state buildings and federal legal tender or remove the churches tax exempt status. Since 1956 there has been a major breach of the separation of church and state from the church. The church has infiltrated the gop and turned it into an insanely religious party seemingly bent on doing to America what islam has done to Iran, which is why the founding fathers wanted the separation in the first place. This breech of agreement has gone on so long there are people who actually believe "in God we trust" was always the nations motto and not just an anti Communist propaganda move. I say enough is enough if the church is going to try and pass federal law and God appear on federal money than the church can pay federal taxes. Every year collection plates take enough money that if taxed could pay for the food stamps of everyone on welfare and still have enough left over to house the nations homeless. Instead most of it goes to hide priests from prosecution for molestation. This is a call to action to stop the corruption in our government from the church. If they want to keep their tax exempt status then they need to exit state and federal matters entirely.
