"Community, please add your name to help us fight against the culturally insensitive, discriminatory commentary that continues to affect the community as a result of media. Your signature supports the fact we do not find it acceptable that media has afforded an outlet for current leadership to be targeted by journalists and social media commenters alike. We are serving notice that the negative portrayal of people of color will no longer be tolerated. We are further requesting that any and all journalists engaged in behavior that violates the FCC reporting principles, be removed from their jobs immediately."
