1. Politicians lose their current health care system and participates in the
same health care system as the American people.
2. Purchase and contribute to their own pension plan.
3. No work no pay.
4. No more expense accounts for food and travel.
5. Politicians must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American
people.
6. Pay raises to be the same COLA as Social Security and Disability recipients.
The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then
go home and back to work.
Why is this important?
Our representatives have lost sight on the people they represent and are more focused on their ability to profit from their time in Washington. Politicians should be made responisible and share in the sacrifices that the rest of us have been forced, by their decisions, to endure.
