To: David Dewhurst, Texas Lt. Governor, Steve Allison (TX-121), and Governor Greg Abbott
Shut the bedroom door on Rick Perry and company.
It's time for politicians to respect the personal decisions of Texans and stop interfering in their private lives.
I'm calling on you to support the priorities, values and wishes of a growing number of Texans who agree that:
- All women, regardless of their income, should have access to affordable family planning services, including birth control, without interference from politicians or employers.
- Gay and lesbian couples in loving, committed relationships should have the same recognition, rights and responsibilities of marriage as heterosexual couples do under the law.
- High school sex education classes should teach students medically accurate information about condoms and other forms of contraception and disease prevention, along with the importance of abstinence.
Please Respect the Personal Decisions of Texans.

Why is this important?
Rick Perry and company have an unnatural interest in the private sex lives of ordinary Texans. Whether they’re just playing Cupid, or being stupid, is for you to decide.
