To prevent single-use plastic shopping bags from entering our waterways, getting stuck in trees & fence lines and filling up landfills, we want single-use plastic bags banned and multi-use bags provided by the consumer encouraged and rewarded.
The City of Dallas should create a plan to eliminate distribution of single-use plastic bags.
Why is this important?
Keep Oak Cliff Beautiful volunteers are frustrated by the number of plastic shopping bags they find amongst the litter pulled out of creek beds and roadsides and have made this “bag ban” a priority for Dallas, TX.
