Our government and the press should stop using the word "entitlement" when referring to Social Security and Medicare and/or even talking about reducing or eliminating payments. This is something WE the people have paid for and should not be referred to as an entitlement. Furthermore, the government have no right to take money from us and then not give it back as promised when FDR set up the program. These programs are NOT welfare! They are paid by workers and employers. If government wants to changed these programs now, we should ALL get our money back first. Congress, Senate and the press should stop this farce right away!
Why is this important?
I'm tired of our government and the press using the word "entitlement" when referring to Social Security and Medicare and/or even talking about reducing or eliminating payments. These programs are paid by workers and employers and not funded by the Wefare Program, which is commonly referred to as an entitlement.
