Social Security and Medicare Was Never Yours to Touch

Pay back (with interest), every cent taken from the Social Security Fund and stay away from Medicare. These funds are not, nor have they ever been, yours to use . No matter the importance of any projects, or bills you needed funded, or may need funded, either find the money somewhere else or scrape it, you can't afford it. Why does it seems that so many Americans care so little about the elderly? We've worked all our adults lives, (some began as teenagers) to take care of ourselves and our families. Never asking for a handout, living within our means and being good citizens. Now you say the SS fund is depleted, and cutting Medicare is a huge part in pulling this country out of the hole our government as gotten us in. OK...what are you going to do with the recipients of these funds THEY put aside? There's only one place to go, the Medicaid program. But wait, that needs overhauling as well. And we all contributed to the SS and Medicare funds, out of every check we ever earned, so that we would not need Medicaid. Why would the government of the Untied States of America touch these funds that were clearly designed and voted into law to keep the elderly going...living a decent life with dignity...health care attainable. They are not ENTITLEMENTS. They are our savings...and why can't we sue to get this money back where it belongs with an overseer we can trust. Well...that may be a real challenge. They're are so few left.
