Please do not cut or touch Social Security in all your budget deals, now or in the future, including CHAINED CPI. If anything, poor seniors and those on Soc. Sec. disability like myself need higher cost of living increases.
Why is this important?
Social Security Cuts and chained CPI will reduce benefits and income to seniors. This will severely hurt me over the years, plus many folks on social security living merely on this income and those on disability. Please increase the cost of living for seniors instead of decreasing it, as it is almost impossible to keep up with the cost of living and food prices and utilities as it is now. Thanks.
