We call upon the Congress to repay "borrrowed" funds from the Social Security Trust Fund by passing the Financial Speculation Tax; and devoting these tax funds for the exclusive use of repaying monies "borrowed" in the past from the SS Trust Fund.
Why is this important?
The chronic issue with Social Security is that Congress has "borrowed" funds from the Social Security Trust Fund for use for non-social security purposes. It's time Congress paid those funds back.
