My name is….and a "VET" (Vertical Axis Energy Harvesting Turbine) on the street light pole in my city will benefit the community, the environment and reduce my cost of living.
Why is this important?
The challenge is to design a utility (or improve upon an existing utility) that would make the city/ town/ neighborhood a better place. Our solution is to reduce the cost of utilities by using renewable energy to power the street lights. Adding your name to the support statement will help us win the 2012 challenge and reduce utility cost up to 35% (the average monthly expense of city lighting)
