Solar Energy at home
Solar power should be our main source of energy, but it should come from the roofs of buildings in the cities' public and private buildings, not the open spaces.
Why is this important?
I believe our best source of energy should come from the sun but to use the deserts is all wrong. Using the deserts destroys the open space and homes for the wildlife, not only the sites but the corridors serving them. This system has to bring the energy many miles from the desert to the cities that use it.
The logical way is to create the power in the city on the roof tops of private and public buildings, the shortest distance. A good example is the Los Angeles county building in North Hollywood on Van Nuys Blvd. which has been there for years. There is no need to destroy our dwindling open space.
