All new building construction is required to have a solar-ready roof. Such a roof is strong enough to support solar panels, facing south, and an unobstructed plane without dormers or chimneys.
Why is this important?
Residential solar is one of the best answers to Climate Change. Solar is possible on only about a quarter of our housing stock. It is impossibly costly to change. I’ve seen the advantage on my house.
