Special Board Meeting Request
Request:
1) The HOA lawyer to be present to give legal opinions directly to the community, as opposed to board members, on community members' concerns, to be provided in writing to the board prior to the meeting.
2) A decision to find a new independent management company without conflict of interest due to being both neighbor and management company.
3) Support a decision to perform an Audit. Especially in light of the last treasurer stepping down due to being treated poorly and the new treasurer writing on Facebook to community members:
“Dave Resendez: Completed financials will be out this week... This HOA has had a lot of unexpected expenses, and right now if it’s not there it’s not there.”

Why is this important?
The HOA board has failed to provide financial documents in a timely manner and has acted in a threatening manner to deny community members answers to reasonable questions. The HOA board has failed to meet contractual obligations of maintaining the gates. Votes and other issues have been mishandled by both the HOA board and the management company, which is owned and operated by a fellow community member who has an obvious dual relationship and conflict of interest.
