Why is this important?
After spending tens of millions of dollars attempting to break in to the New York City market -- and facing fierce community resistance -- Walmart finally gave up in 2012. But now David Storobin, Republican candidate for NYC City Council, has said that he has a plan to help the poor if elected -- bring Walmart to the city.
