Stand Up For Injured Workers.
I was injured on the job in 1988, I had no choice in the issue. I could only deal with the after affects of it. Like many here in Ohio ,I was finally forced to go off work. I thought the Bureau of Workmans Comp system would be there to protect me, instead it exist to protect the employer.I have been to over 50 hearings, and each issue was important to me. I have won less than 5 hearings.
Injured workers in this state are at the mercy of the hearing officers of the Industrial Commission of Ohio. We have the resourses that they our employers allow us access to. While in my claim my employer has unlimited resourses. And prefers to use them to pay doctors to say what they want them to say. Injured workers have no voice in my state, that includes every media outlet. I am will to stand up for the union workers here in Ohio, but who is willing to stand up for the silent minority ?

Why is this important?
Injured Workers are also being asked to sacrifice in this state! Ohio is talking about lowering Workmens Comp. rates for employers. That money is being taken form injured workers, who had the misfortune of getting hurt doing their job.
