That all weapons designed to fire in automatic or semi-automatice mode and that can carry a magazine with more than seven bullets, are are in the hands of all Americans, law abiding and criminal alike, be removed to a government facility until such time as they can be destroyed.
Why is this important?
It would be futile to try and climate all guns in private hands at one time. We must start with the elimination of weapons by getting the automatic and semi-automatic weapons off the streets. There is no place for them in the hands of civilians.
