State Attorney Generals vs. Wal-Mart
We respectfully request that the fifty State Attorney Generals sue Wal-Mart to recover the taxpayer funds paid to cover their employees under the Medicaid and Food Stamp programs. Wal-Mart should take care of its employees, not the taxpayers.
Why is this important?
Wal-Mart shamefully brags that it doesn't insure its employees for health care because they are paid so little, they qualify for Medicaid! They even hand their employees information sheets how to sign up for food stamps, Medicaid and other government programs. The State Attorney Generals should sue Wal-Mart to cover the cost of benefits to its employees that Wal-Mart should be paying.
