State officials: Stop wasting our tax dollars on Wall Street

We the undersigned citizens of the State of Colorado do hereby call out to our elected executive and legislative officials and representatives (including the Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, and legislators) to stop wasting our tax dollars--and the credit that these monies could generate in the public interest--by creating a publicly owned bank that operates in the public interest, and then by removing our tax dollars from banks operated in the private interest of a few shareholders, so that Colorado can enjoy the prosperity much as the original 13 colonies did, and much as North Dakota does with its publicly owned bank (the only one in the U.S.)

Why is this important?

Create a Public Bank of Colorado that operates in the public interest, remove our tax monies from private banks, and deposit them in the Public Bank of Colorado, so that we can benefit as the original 13 colonies did, and the State of North Dakota does, by not giving away our money to the failed and corrupt Wall Street banks and their subsidiaries.
