Citizens of the District of Columbia pay full Federal Taxes, unlike citizens of Guam and Puerto Rico who also have no representatives in Congress with full voting rights.
Citizens of the District of Columbia should either have full voting representation in Congress or be exempt from all Federal Taxes
"No Taxation Without Representation" was good enough for our revolutionary Founding Mothers and Fathers, and it is good enough for the citizens of the District of Columbia.
Why is this important?
Why should I pay tens of thousands of dollars in Federal Income Tax each year and have no one to vote my interests in Congress? Same argument on behalf of all my fellow and sister citizens of DC.
