Remove the amendment to the Ohio budget bill that requires universities that issue proof of residency letters to charge in-state tuition to those students. This amendment will cost Ohio universities over $250 Million, and disenfranchise tens of thousands of students.
Why is this important?
This budget amendment is a direct attack on the voting rights of students, and a threat to democracy in Ohio. We must act immediately and put pressure on Senate President Keith Faber to remove this amendment from the budget.
