Stop Brutal Excessive Force from Correction Officers on Rikers Island

1. Correctional officers must be sited for beating an inmate out of camera view (co's are hiding something when a beat down occurs off camera).
2. Correction officers need to be held accountable for their actions; doctors must report this excessive abuse to a special unit, instead of cover ups so co’s can one day kill somebody.
3. Any inmate going to court to defend self against officer’s. Must be represented by Counsel.

Why is this important?

My son was brutally beaten by correction officers and two captains they beat my son about his head so bad that these officers were trying to kill him, his eyes were shut, head swollen, mouth busted open arm in a sling, when I saw him. This should not happen under any circumstances. These officers are paid highly to take care of inmates, not brutalize them.
