Since most of the members of the House and Senate want to eliminate or seriously cut Social Security and Medicare benefits, the cost of which was deducted from our paychecks, thereby robbing those of us who paid for these benefits and the right to receive them; the members of this exclusive rich persons club should have to pay their own way on both health care and pensions.
Why is this important?
Congressmen and senators receive taxpayer paid health and pension benefits. Since nearly all members of the two houses of congress are already millionares before they are elected to serve the people, they do not deserve taxpayer paid free health and pension benefits.
