Stop Congress Pay Raises

The President has approved a one-half to one percent salary increase for the members of Congress despite being the most unproductive group in 65 years. Congress should not receive pay raises, while leaving the rest of America struggling from their lack of decisiveness and fortitude to fix serious issues within our country. If we don't do our job, we wouldn't get paid or a raise. Not to mention that their schedule as of this point for 2013 gives them 239 days off. It is time for the people of the United States to say that our tax payer dollars, which support our country, should not arbitrarily be given to those in positions to help and don't.

Why is this important?

The President has approved raises for Congress. We should all worry when people who have done virtually nothing, believe they deserve more tax payer money, while the remain indecisive. We need to take a stand and say this isn't right, and that the people of America won't allow it.
