Stop Corporate Retail Cards Designed to Track Us and Our Private Lives

Buyers Beware !!! Buyer loyalty cards, store debit cards and store credit cards are being used to track our individual buying preferences and habits and invade our privacy. No company or mega corporation should be allowed to charge higher prices for some customers who are not approved for or choose not to be tracked by carrying their debit cards, credit cards or loyalty cards and giving over so much personal information for a simple purchase. These cards are an insidious invasion of privacy, a slippery slope to a world where no aspect of an individual's personal life is at all sacred anymore. In addition, it slows transactions to a crawl which spoils the shopping experience - another slap in the face to the customer. Stop these card requirements now (retail clubs exempted) and ensure fair prices for all customers (with or without cards) so that no one is held ransom by these cards which will monitor them forever unless they choose to be. It may already be too late!

Why is this important?

It's odd - we citizens are increasingly monitored more and more closely in our daily lives while monitoring the health of our precious natural resources and the creeping environmental harm to them is being scaled back and decreased by our legislative and regulatory bodies under the pressure and influence of big corporate interests and powerful elitists. Several chain retailers now charge many of us higher prices for their merchandise simply because we will not succumb to their card system to take our personal information and monitor us for the rest of our days on the earth. This is not true feedom - and it's a sad legacy if without saying a word, we accept it as our future.
