We need to derail Corporate America. Big business is sticking its nose where it doesn't belong- healthcare. With Corporate America, there is neither Health nor care. It is a numbers game. People's lives are at risk. Please help!
Why is this important?
This is the second Florida nursing home i've worked in that's been taken over by a corporation. Corporate takeover affects each and every one of us-staff and patients. The first thing corporations do, without any knowledge about caring for people, is to clean house. This is a people and not product-centered industry. We need to look at more than just numbers and figures on a piece of paper. As long as Corporate America is in charge, staff will continue to be overworked, underpaid and patients will continue to receive care that is sub-par!
