Stop Deadly Secondhand Smoke in Multifamily Units

Establish a law that protects the residents of apartments, condos, and town homes from life threatening secondhand smoke from their neighbors.

Why is this important?

Secondhand smoke is already proven to cause numerous health problems leading to a costly and agonizing death. Residents are exposed to life threatening secondhand smoke that literally travels through the walls of apartments, condos, and town homes without any recourse to protect their health in such a situation. These residents include children, veterans, the elderly, health conscious people, and pets and they deserve protection, particularly in these times of run away health care costs.
