Stop Delta's mistreatment of its gay employees

My son became ill with Shigella, a bacteria from feces on food from employees not washing their hand. He contracted Shigella during his international travels with Delta. The CDC put him off work because it was contagious but Delta fired him because he didn't have enough time in reserve to cover the FLMA, using excessive absence as the excuse.
A complaint was filed with the EEOC over 18 months ago and they still have not made to a decision. He unemployment has run out. He lost his apartment and was homeless until he finally let his dad and I help him. He lost his medical benefits and is unable to pay for his antibiotics ($1500 a month) because this virus is still present; and his dad and I can't afford it. He is finally at the point of seeing if he can get Medicaid....otherwise he could die.
Please make Delta compensate and stop dragging this on! I don't want to lose my son.

Why is this important?

My son, Brian, lost his job because he was ill. Delta fired him while he was on FLMA stating that he didn't have the time available. The way Delta works their FLMA is misapplied. They use a running 12 month period of time and if an employee becomes ill at the beginning of the year, there is no FLMA time built up to cover the time needed.
