There is not enough attention to this issue. Women and Children are being murdered at the hands of their abusers. Victims are treated as the prisoners.
I was a witness, and spoke to many women are afraid to come forard to press charges due to a language barrier and citizenship status.
Why is this important?
I am a survivor of Domestic Violence. My son and I felt as prisoners in our our own home, due to the abuser being out on bail, while we were unable to leave our home.
