Do not allow the State of Florida to take control of, and regulate how local governments and municipalities enforce their individual tree ordinances. With many communities at grave risk of losing already dwindling tree canopies, this is a community issue to be dealt with at a grassroots and local level, and is not a state issue to be mandated state-wide.
Why is this important?
Save Florida's tree canopies by allowing cities and municipalities to maintain their individualized and independently-designed tree codes and ordinances as already written. Do not force SB574 and HB521 on communities who have a vested interest in maintaining their tree canopies and inventory of trees.
